IMPACT SUMMARY:

• To increase the connection, impact, and education for “Littles” in their relationship with their “Bigs”.
• To provide Donors, sponsoring a Mentor Match, with quarterly updates from their “Big” and “Little” on the Manifest Foundation website, increasing awareness, and encouraging more adults to become “Bigs”.
• To increase awareness via the Manifest Foundation website of the impact and effectiveness of the BBBS Mentor Program.

DreamCourts

In Partnership with The Nancy Lieberman Foundation

Keeping Children at Play!

A DreamCourt is an open-to-public 54’ x 94’ court with 4 hoops, landscaping, bleachers, and lighting.  Your partnership in building a DreamCourt in your city is needed!  Through cooperation with the Nancy Lieberman Foundation, the NBA, and Boys and Girls Clubs, you can help create a lasting legacy where disadvantaged youth benefit tremendously from a safe, "pro-athlete" court to play basketball and other team sports, interact socially, and learn valuable life lessons.   Help us keep kids off the streets and on the courts!

Bottle Schools

Building Schools & Cleaning The Environment

Help us turn trash into education.  Bottle Schools are built in developing nations using discarded plastic bottles and non-biodegradable trash, enaging the whole community to take ownership of the new structure and cleaning the environment of unwanted refuge.  The community-led projects enable empowerment and teach transferable skills such as masonry and carpentry.  A Voluntourism Trip gives you the opportunity to contribute while traveling, work alongside kids and adults in the community and experience Guatemalan culture.

Sponsor a single mother and you change her entire family.  At the core of improving a child's life, is the need to empower a child's primary care-giver with financial literacy, vocational training and an opportunity to create sustainable income.  Through a sponsorship relationship you give dignity back to a woman from a post-war African nation, provide an opportunity for her to support herself and her children, and witness real and lasting changes - and don't be surprised to find your own life changed at the same time!

Sharing & Teaching Clean Water Solutions

When it comes to safe drinking water, a large percentage of the world’s population has only known scarcity.  Therefore the old model has always been: ”The more we use a filter, the quicker it will degrade, and stop working.  In order to insure our family has clean water, we don’t share”.  Wherever we bring the Sawyer Clean-Water system we get to teach the ‘abundance & sharing‘ alternative.  The new model: ”There is plenty of water for our family, and all those around us – if we keep the Sawyer filter in the ON position.
