Water4Everyone

Initiated and operated by Jack Rose, Water4Everyone is a campaign that believes safe drinking water is a basic human right.  The mandate for Water4Everyone is exactly what the name states.  To put this goal into action, w4e partners with NGOs, FBOs, UN and government agencies around the world to provide a variety of clean-water solutions.  These include rainwater harvesting systems on schools in developing nations and the distribution & education of Point-of-Use water filtration systems:

The Sawyer filter is 0.1 micron absolute – so small that worms, parasites, bacteria & protozoa, or cysts like E.Coli, Cholera and Typhoid can not get through.  A Sawyer filter, installed in an ordinary 5 gallon bucket, reduces the risk of death and immediately relieves the suffering caused by water-borne  disease.   This filter NEVER has to be replaced, lasts forever and is a permanent, cost-effective, simple solution, anywhere in the world!

Sharing and Abundance Model

When it comes to safe drinking water, a large percentage of the world’s population has only known scarcity.  Therefore the old model has always been: ”The more we use a filter, the quicker it will degrade, and stop working.  In order to insure our family has clean water,  we don’t share”.

Wherever we bring the Sawyer Clean-Water system we get to teach the ‘abundance & sharing‘ alternative, as depicted in these images.  The new model:  ”There is plenty of water for our family, and all those around us – if we keep the Sawyer filter in the ON position.  We call this ‘Filling up and overflowing‘... and using the filter this way can bring safe drinking water to over 100 people each and every day.

No downside to sharing: First we share the solution with our receiving partners, then ask that they do the same.  It’s an important step – inspiring students to become teachers – an essential part of the team effort required to get the greatest yield from this amazing technology.
