Fundraising Policy Guidelines for Manifest Foundation

Thank you for your interest in supporting the efforts of Manifest Foundation.  We receive multiple requests from companies, organizations, and individuals that wish to hold a benefit or fundraising event.  We are grateful for this support and interest.  This community engagement helps us serve more children and families.

All fundraising and promotional events to benefit our organization must be approved by our office in advance.  Manifest Foundation is committed to partnerships that are mutually beneficial to both parties, and enters into those partnerships with the best interest of our mission in mind.  We review all promotions and fundraising proposals for compliance by Manifest Foundation with applicable rules on fundraising, but our consent to your proposal should not be considered to be any authorization from us that your proposal is in compliance with all applicable rules and laws where you are proposing to hold your event or promotion.  We cannot advise you on such compliance, and we strongly recommend you check with applicable local city/county/state laws that relate to such activities.

As an event organizer, we ask that you provide the elements necessary to complete your event or promotion.

The following are guidelines that might help in your planning:

  • The use of the Manifest Foundation name (whether written or verbal) and/or logo may be used only with prior written approval.  The official logo will be made available upon approval.  You must state clearly on all literature that Manifest is not the organizer of your event but it or its impact partner(s) is a beneficiary of any proceeds only.
  • A minimum of 15% of the gross proceeds must be donated directly to Manifest Foundation if there is more than one charity other than Manifest Foundation that is the direct beneficiary.
  • If you wish to allocate proceeds to organizations that are not already approved Manifest Foundation Impact Partners, Manifest Foundation reserves the right to approve.
  • We ask that the proposal/application be submitted at least 6 weeks before the event, unless special circumstances prevent this.  We will do our best to review and respond to your application within 7 days, but approval may take more time, depending on the nature of the event.
  • Manifest Foundation cannot guarantee media coverage.  You may request it yourselves from media outlets; however, we ask that you notify us as to any arrangements made.
  • Manifest Foundation cannot cover any costs associated with your event (rentals, printing, security, licenses, taxes, liability insurance, advertising, staffing, etc.).  Any contracts, releases or licenses required for your event should not be in the name of Manifest Foundation or indicate that you are in any way authorized to act on behalf of Manifest Foundation or that Manifest Foundation will have any responsibility for any aspect of the event.
  • Due to State Fundraising Laws, which vary from state to state, we cannot guarantee the approval of your event or event activity.  If you wish to offer a raffle or auction, we may require you to provide us with confirmation that it is in accordance with local state law for you to do so.
  • An application must be submitted as complete only.  No partial applications will be reviewed.  Download the application below, complete in full, and E-Mail to Manifest Foundation.
