Our Story
The Manifest Foundation exists today because of the passion, vision and constant efforts of the founders and executive team of WorldVentures. Since the company launched in 2005, founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue and the staff and Representatives at WorldVentures have worked diligently on building a culture of compassion.
This giving mindset developed from the company's motto of “Making a living… Living!” and the desire to help people live a “DreamLife”. The idea being that by helping WorldVentures Representatives take care of their basic needs, they would have more time to devote to helping others.
The idea of “giving back” resonated with the WorldVentures executive team, as well as with the tens of thousands of WorldVentures Representatives across the globe. Since then, it's been a part of the heartbeat of the company. And so, after several years of continued generous giving to not only Big Brothers Big Sisters, but also Children's Medical Center, the Texas Stampede, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the North Texas Food Bank, and even donating to the Haitian Relief efforts, it was time for the company to establish its own nonprofit organization to help take its philanthropic efforts to the next level.
Named after WorldVentures' vision of helping others manifest a better life for themselves, the Manifest Foundation, founded in spring of 2010, is dedicated to creating lasting, positive change in the world by impacting the lives of economically disadvantaged children and their families. We understand that providing essentials like food, clean water, shelter, education and mentorship creates a ripple effect of positive change that reaches across borders and touches generations.
In January 2011, Spryte Loriano became Executive Director to develop and direct Manifest programs and outreach, and provide for the development of our Voluntourism division, which has already conducted service trips in four countries, providing a “hands-on” service opportunity to more than 100 vacationers and impacting thousands of lives. Through the expansion of our programs, we have been able to attract additional donors and corporate sponsors beyond the WorldVentures community, who share a common heart and purpose to empower and uplift children to their greatest potential for a brighter future for us all.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the Manifest Foundation. We look forward to your partnership in manifesting better lives for children around the world!
